Melting Snowman
Frosty fun for toddlers on up! Melting snowman parts can go anywhere!
Supplies:
wooden clothes pin
white cardstock melty snowman shapes (4.5" tall x 4" wide)
snowman parts cut from colored construction paper: sunglasses, hat, scarf, carrot nose, buttons
cotton balls
glue (use a dish of glue and cuetips to help little hands be neat)
Directions:
1. Fold the bottom of each snowman about .5" so that the folded portion can lay flat on a table.
2. Apply glue to one side of a clothespin. Turn it so the "legs" of the clothespin are down and press it to the center back of the snowman. The folded portion will not be glued to the clothespin.
3. Use the cuetip to spread glue on the folded portion of the snowman. Stretch out your cottonball so that it is long and fluffy. Press it to the folded portion.
4. Dip the cuetip into the glue and apply each colored snowman part.
*Set Snowman on a desk, or a counter to hold special notes.
